Aoife Abbey, who used to blog as The Secret Doctor, does just that.

She has written a book, Seven Signs of Life: Stories from an Intensive Care Doctor, which details some of her experiences from working in various hospitals around England.

Aoife joined us on The Last Word to talk about the pressures and responsibilities of the job.
