Should Gardaí be co-operating with self-styled 'paedophile hunters'?
It's a question that has raised concern following a number of incidents in Waterford and Drogheda.
Darren O'Neill of Emerald Hunters, whose group targets paedophiles by creating decoys and then filming their confrontations, justified the work they do.
"If they're going to make up profiles, groom kids online and send explicit pictures, why shouldn't we confront them?"
"We're not vigilantes. We go and confront them because they deserve to be confronted."
But Maeve Lewis of the charity One In Four thinks it's a matter best left to the Gardaí.
"If other people decide to take matters into their own hands, these people are driven underground and nobody knows where they are."
"There is a huge responsibility on parents to know who their children are contacting online. If you're allowing unsupervised access and not educating yourself on the different apps and chat rooms, it is a huge problem."
