Stefanie Preissner will be among the guests interviewed tomorrow at the Rolling Sun Book Festival in Westport, Co. Mayo.

She joined us live in Westport to talk about her writing and why she made the decision to walk away from Can't Cope, Won't Cope after two series.

Stefanie explains that she had never written for television before, and as she had not expected the show to go to a second series, she didn't feel passionate about the idea of a third.

"I see holes in season two, and I wasn't going to cobble together a season three. I want only my best work to be out there."

She considers herself a perfectionist and admits: "I don't want the real me to be less than what people think of me."

Stefanie originally thought her career lay in law enforcement, and attended the Garda training college in Templemore for a while. She says she wanted to be a guard because she loves rules and loves the establishment.

Her next book will be about people pleasing and how difficult it is to say no, which has been her own experience in life.

"It's very difficult to say no and have boundaries, because people want to be liked and to be good, kind, accepted and loved."
