Many third level students are facing higher accommodation costs from September.

Several colleges are raising their on-campus accommodation fees by the maximum 4% allowed in rent pressure zones, blaming refurbishment and building costs.

USI Deputy President Michelle Byrne and Karl Deeter of Irish Mortgage Brokers joined us to discuss the situation.
