Leo Varadkar has expressed his disgust that several details of a 200-page report into the CervicalCheck controversy by Dr. Gabriel Scally were leaked.

The Taoiseach and others have questioned why the women affected by the scandal were not informed of the details before the media.

According to the Irish Times, Scally has concluded in the report that the labs who currently carry out testing for the screening programme can continue to be used.

Roisin Shorthall, co-leader of the Social Democrats, and Fine Gael Senator Colm Burke joined us to discuss the importance of establishing the full facts of the report and finding the best way forward for improvement of the cervical screening programme.
