The new Elton John biopic, Rocketman, will be released at the end of this month, but fans have already got their first taste of the film's soundtrack.

Taron Egerton, who plays Elton, can be seen and heard performing the song 'Rocket Man' in a video clip, and the singer himself stated that having Egerton do his own vocals was "very important" to him.

The soundtrack has been produced by Giles Martin, son of the late Beatles producer George, and the film itself was directed by Dexter Fletcher, who took over Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody after the departure of Bryan Singer.

Rocketman also stars Jamie Bell as Elton John's lyricist/songwriting partner, Bernie Taupin.
