The Spice Girls have announced their first tour in a decade, but without Victoria Beckham.

The group will start their six UK dates with a show in Manchester in June next year, but there are currently no Irish concerts scheduled.

The Spice Girls released their debut single Wannabe in 1996, which brought them worldwide stardom.

They followed this up with a string of number one singles, and their first album Spice made them the fastest-selling British act since The Beatles. To date they have sold more than 85 million records.

Is there still enough excitement out there for the Spice Girls — and have they snubbed Ireland?

John Caddell and Larissa Nolan discussed this and more in our weekly music slot.
