But 250,000 people have still been allowed to gather in South Dakota for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, an annual ten-day event which attracts bikers from all over the country.

Governor of South Dakota Kritsi Noem has encouraged visitors, despite protests from Sturgis residents, and the wearing of face masks is not being enforced.
