Donald Trump has threatened a government shutdown if Congress doesn't fund his border wall.

The remarks were made during a White House meeting with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, which was broadcast live.

Trump stated that he would be "proud" to shut down the government over border security "if we don't get what we want".
