Joe Biden is on the verge of winning the US presidential election.

The Democratic candidate is currently leading in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada.

A win in Pennsylvania would see him secure the 270 electoral votes needed to become the next president of the United States.

In a 17-minute speech last night, Donald Trump once again baselessly claimed the election had been "rigged" against him and raised doubts about the validity of mail-in ballots. Several US networks cut away from his address.
