The coronavirus outbreak appears to have taken its toll on couples across China, as the country's divorce rates are reported to have increased significantly.

Couples are filing for divorce in large numbers after apparently spending too much time together at home during the lockdown, and divorce lawyers in the UK and United States are bracing themselves for a similar spike in cases.
