Eamon Ryan quickly became the focus of attention in the Dáil this week when he appeared to fall asleep during a vote.

The Minister for Climate Action sat with his eyes closed and his name had to be called several times as TDs cast their votes on a Government amendment to a Social Democrats workers' rights bill.
