A government review of legislation that gives employees the right to request working from home has been criticised by unions, who say there doesn’t need to be any changes to the current law.

Minister for Small Business, Retail and Employment Alan Dillon TD will ask the Workplace Relations Commission to give clearer guidance for employees applying for remote work.

Dr. Laura Bambrick, Head of Social Policy at the Irish Congress of Trade Unions, speaks to Matt on The Last Word about the move.
