Sales at Woodie's in the last two weeks of May exceeded those for the entire month last year, according to the company's owner Grafton Group.
This has been attributed to good weather and pent up consumer demand as COVID-19 restrictions were eased.
Sales of garden furniture, BBQ equipment, shrubs and plants and exterior paint and woodcare products were described as "exceptional."
