Kildare couple John and Bernadette were set to be wed in Naas on Saturday, but due to the adverse and insane weather conditions, they didn't get the chance to go.

Not to see young love's dream being ruined, their creative neighbour (and surely now best friend ever) Katie Hand, rallied all their nearest and dearest to shock them with a surprise wedding in the snow. 

They built an igloo chapel and the garden was kitted out with the works. They've rescheduled their big day for a date in the summer, but we're sure the snow version will be forever in their hearts.

Dermot and Dave chatted to Katie about the unique event on this morning's show.
