The state of being happy isn't as straightforward as people may think. Happiness takes effort, but what if we told you that by exercising gratitude you can welcome a lot more joy into your life.
Speaking on Dermot and Dave, clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist Fiona Brennan revealed how gratitude is "a very powerful tool" and how with a bit of self-training, it will prove to be very beneficial, "you start to filter the world in a much more positive way".
She quotes two of the world greatest minds, Albert Eintein and Ruby Wax, in order to put things into perspective.
Fiona also states how "many of us forget to be grateful", and if we're honest - we do forget.
"It's got to be something that you cultivate and create", so lets start being thankful for what we have.
