Two stories have emerged from the courts in relation to internet trolling. A 14-year-old girl in the North took action over naked photographs which were posted on a Facebook 'shame' page, while a man received a six-month suspended sentence for online threats he made to former Labour Party senator Lorraine Higgins.

Is internet trolling taken seriously enough by the legal system?

Naoise Kavanagh, Head of Digital and Communications at ReachOut, and TJ McIntyre, UCD lecturer and chairman of Digital Rights Ireland, spoke to us about the issue.
