Friends is now available for streaming on Netflix, introducing the show to a whole new audience.
But not everyone is happy with the way the iconic sitcom deals with certain themes, with accusations of sexism and homophobia doing the rounds on social media. They’ve pointed to Joey’s attitudes to women and Ross’s comments on his ex-wife Carol, who left him for another woman, as evidence of this.
