So who (or what) were you in your school's Nativity play back in the day?
Most kids are great because they're happy just to be involved, but there are the few who have that Billie Barry streak in them and want to be the main attraction.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph are always the most popular but you'd be happy to be given the role of wise man, angel or even a star. Sheep aren't bad either.
Then there are the undesirable parts - like a donkey's rear end or any other part where you aren't seen or heard.
Today FM listener Clare sent Dermot and Dave a WhatsApp note on her way to her daughter's play, where her daughter would play one of eight 'fairy lights'. And she didn't sound too impressed.
So the lads asked the saintly people of Ireland for their Nativity tales and also wanted to know if it had any bearings on their future?
We know Clare's daughter won't turn out to be a fairy light in adulthood (we hope), but there were lots of people with coincidences - like one listener who messaged in, "In primary school I was the virgin Mary in the school play. I'm 32 and Christmas day last year I had my first baby. It was meant to be".
Carol chats about her cameo as a door in a production, and although Mary's story at the end is on a different tangent, it's funny as feck.
