Father Ted ended 20 years ago, but it looks like it could be making a comeback in the form of a stage musical.
The show's creators Graham Linehan and Arthur Matthews have confirmed that they have almost finished writing Pope Ted - The Father Ted Musical, with music by Neil Hannon.
It's not the first sitcom to be made into a musical. Only Fools and Horses will reportedly open in the West End next year, while Goodnight Sweetheart is set to open in September.
Unlike with films, TV comedy doesn't have a great track record when it comes to musical adaptations.
