Sleep deprivation is a big problem for lots of people, so we asked "sleep technologist" Deirdre McSwiney into studio this morning to shed some light on the issue of sleeplessness, and how we can correct it.
As always, our listeners had a huge list of questions to be answered and Deirdre had some very sound advice (she is a professional after all).
A wide range of problems were covered as she spoke of people getting into their own biology, temperature and light control, avoiding technology, forgetting about the mythical '8 hours' and various other strategies.
Deirdre also had some pointers on how to help your child sleep.
