In a world where online dating is the norm, it’s refreshing to hear a story about couples meeting IRL (in real life, for you non millennials).  Whether it be in the supermarket, on the bus or, in the case of our listener Louise, 35,000 feet in the air.

Louise, a doctor from Galway, was travelling to Canada with her mom for a family reunion when fate intervened. Enter Lloyd, a young man from Dublin also travelling to Vancouver on the same flight.

Lloyd happened to be sitting next to Louise and the two sat in silence for the first two hours of their transatlantic flight. The pair eventually got chatting and began to hit it off. The conversation quickly turned flirty and Louise became acutely aware that she was essentially on a first date with Lloyd and her mom. Now that's what we call a wingwoman.

The tension reached boiling point when Louise’s mother got up to go to the bathroom.....
