Christmas is a time of giving, and the BBC and RTÉ have spread some early festive joy by announcing they will air a Christmas special of The Young Offenders.
So Alex Murphy, Chris Walley & co. will be back on our screens with the addition of actor Robert Sheehan (Darren in Love/Hate).
The plot centres around Conor and Jock trying to create a white Christmas for a sick Mairead, whilst helping the residents of their estate dodge eviction from the police.
Both networks will show it in December, with the BBC locking it in for the 14th of the month. RTÉ's date is yet to be announced.
All I can picture is Billy Murphy in a Santa hat.
Maria's Telly also reveals who will be plonking their bums on Graham Norton's red couch tonight, tells us why we have to pick up the phones and vote in the X Factor semi-finals, and tempts us with a documentary containing never before seen footage of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
