Dermot revealed a startling fact on this morning's show, "3/4 of women aged 16-24 will drop out of sport due to their menstrual cycle"

Us fellas won't be too aware of this issue, but even that statistic will shock a lot of the female population.

The FitrWoman app lets ladies track their menstrual cycle and provides personalized training and nutrition suggestions tailored to the changing hormone levels through their cycle.

'No matter what your sport and no matter what your goal, FitrWoman takes the guesswork out of training'

Grainne Conefrey and Georgie Bruinvels called into Dermot and Dave to tell us all about the app from Irish sports and data science company Orecco.

They highlighted some of the reasons women are forced to give up sport due to their cycle and the lack of information out there, until now that is.

Dave also kinda puts his foot in it as they have a huge announcement to make, news that will revolutionize ladies sport in Ireland.
