What's better than a nice pint? A nice, cheap pint - that's what!
And if you're looking for a cosy Christmas scoop, then The Oval Bar in Cork is where you need to head this evening.
To mark the occasion, this historic watering hole (which is the only Cork pub to be included on a list of iconic 20th century buildings) is transporting it's punters back to 1918 - offering pints for the same price as they were 100 years ago.
But it's only pints of Beamish that are going at that price. Everything else is the same price, as the bar's manager Shane Noonan explained on Dermot and Dave, revealing how it was actually "Beamish and Crawford who built the pub".
"We originally had 3 kegs of Beamish to give away for this...we upped it to 5. Over 400 pints", he laughed.
The offer starts at 19:18 this evening (7:18pm for anyone unfamiliar with the 24-hour format) and runs until closing time.
So get your porter-drinking heads on and get yourselves to The Oval for a round.
