President Donald Trump will give a national television address tonight concerning funding for his proposed US-Mexico border wall.
Trump wants $5 billion put into the annual budget for the construction of the wall. The partial government shutdown, which he had threatened if his demands were not met, has now entered its third week.
American journalists have also been fact-checking those in Trump's administration on immigration issues.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was quizzed by Chris Wallace of Fox News over her claims that thousands of terrorists are entering the United States across the border with Mexico, and Vice President Mike Pence was questioned about some of Trump's untruths about border security in an ABC News interview this morning.
