Detective Thingy Majiggy, is the first in a new children's series inspired by bedtime reading with all her kids. But it was her youngest daughter, Blossom (age 6) who took editorial duties!

Blossom even stopped an early draft reading and told her Mum “Get to the point!”

The book is about Mia, a 10-year-old who can talk to inanimate objects… and they talk back. She uses their clues to solve mysteries, but the real magic is how those conversations help her understand feelings, empathy and herself.

Cecelia also shares why books can still beat screens for imagination.
