Actor Dominic West joins Alison Curtis on Weekend Breakfast to chat all things gardens, nature and getting back outside — just in time for the Festival of Gardens & Nature in County Laois, happening Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of May (the long weekend).

Dominic shares his connection to the festival through his wife Catherine Fitzgerald, who co-founded it, and why “tending a garden” might just be the meaning of life — especially after lockdown reminded us how much we need trees, fields and fresh air.

He also told us about working with Cillian Murphy's son Aran on upcoming legal thriller 'War' starring opposite Sienna Miller and playing Aran's Stepdad! He couldn't quite get over how much like Cillian his son looks and he really enjoyed the whole experience.
