PDC to welcome 1,000 fans to each World Darts Championship session

The World Darts Championship will cater to fans of up to 1,000 over Christmas and New Year at the Alexandra Palace in London.

The tournament will take place between December 15th and January 3rd and will be the first arrows event to allow spectators since March.

Fans in Tier 1 and Tier 2 areas of the UK will be permitted to book a table of four seats, consisting of one household or support bubble.

Social distancing will be in operation at the venue, fans will have to arrive at designated times, and there will be specific entry and exit points.

A table of four for the final will cost £280 with tickets going on sale to PDC members and PDCTV annual subscribers on a priority basis first.

Fancy dress won't be permitted, nor will 'football style' chanting.

The field of 96 players will include defending champion Peter Wright and world number one Michael van Gerwen.
