Tom Brady ejected from Tampa park for training during pandemic

NFL legend Tom Brady was asked to leave a Tampa Bay park in which he was training as it is closed during the coronavirus pandemic.

Tampa Bay major Jane Castor revealed that the 42 year old was 'sighted' in a park by a Tampa Parks and Recreation staffer.

The individual was recognised as Brady, who received no special treatment.

Brady recently signed for the Buccaneers having won six SuperBowls with the New England Patriots.

Castor revealed the news during a chat with another Florida mayor, St Petersburg's Rick Kriesman.

"Our parks are closed down and so a lot of our park staff, they patrol around just to make sure people aren't around there with contact sports and things. She went over to tell him it was closed and it was Tom Brady."

The City of Tampa official account then tweeted:

"Sorry Tom Brady! Our team can't wait to welcome you and our entire community back with even bigger smiles - until then, stay safe and stay home as much as you can to help flatten the curve."

Quarterback Brady, who signed a two year, $50 million deal with Tampa, has not been fined. He was just asked to leave the park.

Brady is currently availing of the use of Derek Jeter's 30,000 square foot mansion in the sunshine state.
