Variety Magazine is predicting that she will be a strong contender for an Academy Award for her upcoming role in ‘Ammonite’.

Saoirse stars alongside Oscar winner Kate Winslet in the movie, which is set in the 1920s and tells the story of famed palaeontologist Mary Anning.
