Investigators are looking into claims the gunman who killed nine people in Munich tried to lure his victims in, by using social media to advertise free food.
The 18-year-old opened fire at a McDonald's and a shopping centre on Friday before killing himself.
Officers say he had no links to Islamic State but had read about mass shootings.
