The Paul McLoone Show is the place on Today FM for all your specialist music. Each quarter of 2018 we have created a playlist of tunes that Paul is selecting for his show.

Now that the nights are longer it's time for the final new playlist of the year, 4 of 4 is full of amazing music.

Here is the playlist, but keep reading for info on some of our favourites on the show.

Jealous Of The Birds

Naoimi Hamilton is Irish and her song 'Marrow' has been featuring on the show of late.

Speaking of the track, she says: "'Marrow' is my attempt to articulate what it's like to be a human being navigating one's inner and outer worlds. After I graduated university a year ago, I became much more resolute about chasing a life in music, art and travelling. To me, 'Marrow' captures that sense of striving for authenticity in all its colours and forms."

She Plays  McHughs Belfast on 19th December and The Workmans Club Dublin on December 20th.

Suede

Suede performed what is definitely one of the best gigs of the year at The Bord Gais Energy Theatre recently. Their latest album is 'The Blue Hour' follows on from 2016 'Night Thought's' and continues the beautifully cinematic sound experience alongside Brett Anderson's stunningly visceral lyrics.

Peluché

Paul has also been raving about Peluché, The South London trio have made quite possibly one of the albums of 2018. 'Unforgettable' has a capacity to leave you still as they explore a myriad of genres weaving them together like a magician, it is unforgettable!

Roisin Murphy

Murphy's last chapter from her collaboration with Dance music legend Maurice Fulton 'The Rumble' was released a few weeks back. Roisin will be taking over the show on Nov 28th. Mark that date in your diary, it's a very special show.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters

Costello has returned with his 30th album which is getting all the five star reviews. Immaculately produced as you would expect, 'Look Now' is an album you need to add to your collection immediately.

The Paul McLoone Show Monday to Thursday 9 - Midnight.
