The family of a man who was killed by his girlfriend during a drunken row in Dublin in April 2015 says the sentence handed down today is “too short”.
Norma Philips was jailed for three and a half years for the manslaughter of Stefan Neanu – whom she stabbed to death at her home on Phibsboro Road.
The judge said she had to consider Ms. PhilipÂ’s previous good character and genuine remorse.
