'You've Taught Me How To Face My Sh**t'
Johnny McDaid received an Outstanding Achievement Award from IMRO last night.
The Snow Patrol band member, singer-songwriter and producer gave an emotional speech thanking friends, family and colleagues at the Radio Days Conference in Dublin.
He had some particularly kind words for his partner Courtney Cox, thanking her and telling her he loved her.
He also jokingly told Courtney: "I think you're going to make it some day too... you keep working on it darling, and you could be up here."
The Friends star, meanwhile, took to Twitter to praise 'her man', saying the speech "had me in tears".
Johnny also paid tribute to his home country and the level of talent here.
He said: "Ireland is a place that is just alive with art - the more channels we have to hear that and hear it expressed the better."
