It's to make the university more welcoming to trans students

UCD is designating 170 toilets across its campus as gender neutral.

According to the Irish Times, the university will also allow students change their names on college documents without the need for gender recognition certs.

While trans changing rooms will be introduced at the college's sports centre at Belfield.

The move is said to be one of a number of policies to make the university more welcoming to transgender and gender-fluid students and employees.
