Russell Crowe, actor and musician (he sings the Fields Of Athenry lads and it's not horrific) jetted into Ireland yesterday ahead of his gig in the Olympia next week.
After touching down in Dublin Airport the actor was eager to get straight to the pub where he and fellow actor Scott Grimes sank a few pints of the black stuff.

It didn't seem like they went on a total session, Crowe was up bright and early this morning getting stuck into rehersals.

He'll need a nap though, jet lag had him up at the crack of dawn and poor Russell had no one to have any banter with.
