And this is exactly what happened to television presenter Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos.
They described the seriously awks moment recently:

This caller had some advice:
"Muireann. Well i told them we were playing hookey. A game for married couples. It took legs and we had to stop our child telling people we were paying hookey in the bedroom. It was funny with family but she started telling strangers at the cash out in the supermarket!"
"My parents told me they were having a game of wrestling. I took their word at the time."
"Walking in on my parents when I was about six is burnt in my brain! They said they were practicing Twister for Christmas!! What an excuse. I laugh when I don't cry. Alan"
"They told me they were having a wrestling match!! WTF? I believed it at the time! Rebecca"
"Our four year old burst into our bedroom one night after they heard the noises and though we were having a nightmare!! We thanked her for thinking about us..My only advice is GET A LOCK ON THE DOOR!"
