If you've been sleeping under a rock, you may not have heard of Pokémon Go.
It's the inescapable augmented reality app that lets you catch Pokémon in real life, and in real time. The app was released in Australia, New Zealand and the United States last week, with a European release expected imminently.
It's slowly but surely taking over the world - here's how to spot a burgeoning addiction in others (or yourself)
You play the app constantly - even at major social events
In the grand scheme of things, what's more important - watching two people you love join together in holy matrimony, or catching a Ghastly? Yoseph has his answer.

Nothing will stand in your way when it comes to catching a Pokemon, especially not kids
Nineties babies grew up with the game in its original format, so be wary of twenty somethings trampling teenagers in order to catch 'em all.

"When you play the game of Pokémon Go, you win or you die."
You limit your interaction with others
Humans are overrated anyway.

You're in denial about how sad your existence is
You can brag about being on Team Mystic and having 400 Charizards all you want - your room mates still think you're a sap.
You start committing petty crimes in order to support your addiction
Trespassing? More like, YESpassing, am I right? (Sorry).
The cops just kicked me and over 50 PokemonGo players out of a park 😂

The game makes you irrationally emotional
Missing out on that Lapras = all of the tears.
