It's that time of year again!

The sun is shining, the tops are off and 99s are being eaten in ferocious quantities - the Leaving and Junior Cert is upon us!

Students sat English Paper 1 yesterday, and were baffled to see that the majority of the paper wasn't even made up with words - but emojis.

The Junior Cert reading comprehension read as follows:

... But what emoji could it have been?

Our good friend, the red dancing lady?

 To imply a gal's night out or a boogie post-Junior Cert?

The provocative peach?

Maybe the person was interested in opening a conversation about Kim Kardashian?

Or maybe it was just a good old fashioned ...
