Limerick city would be a “complete deathtrap” if a zombie apocalypse hit. That is according to zombie expert and former University of Limerick lecturer Tadhg O’Flaherty, who has published his book, Surviving a Realistic Zombie Apocalypse, this week.
He joined Anton to give him some hints and tips on how to stay alive if zombies take over the country, and why the stereotypical zombie is not a realistic depiction of, er, zombies.
Tadhg was subject of a remarkable front page story and picture (see below) in the Limerick Leader this week. He gave Anton detailed advice on how to fend off and destroy flesh-eating fiends and offered his insight into the dos-and-don’ts if we are ever attacked by a zombifying virus.
His new book (available via Kindle) looks at case studies of real-life zombies from around the world, based on conspiracy theories. The main theory is that zombies are not the undead, but they are humans who have been infected by genetically-modified viruses, made by elite organisations.
He writes about what would happen in Limerick. His advice: Be ready!
In an odd way, his previous book had nothing to do with zombies, but was rather a self-help book: “How to Get Over Her in 1 Month: Learn how to rise like a Phoenix from the ashes of a breakup”
