A 5-year-old girl was hit by one of Yaya Touré's wayward shots on goal in Man City's game against QPR at Loftus Road over the weekend. Thankfully, she escaped any serious injury and according to her father, 'she didn't even cry' claiming she's 'made of tough stuff'.

The girl's father said he didn't realised at the time how hard the ball had hit her, that was until he saw the force of Touré’s effort when he watched the game again on Match of The Day.

Chloe's dad is a QPR season ticket holder and the club decided to make up for the chance-bad-experience by presenting the 5-year-old with a QPR shirt signed by the team. After the game they tweeted “We’ve just spoken to the young girl who was hit by Yaya Touré’s shot – she’s fine and will enjoy these shirts!”

Yaya Touré also made a personal apology to the girl by phoning her after the game to make sure she was OK. He also presented Chloe with his match jersey with “sorry” written on it, and later tweeted: “Just spoke to the lovely Chloe and her dad on the phone. So glad she is ok.”
