Every Tuesday two Irish acts are featured on Ceol For the Soul with their newest releases.
First up this week is Loah with her latest single 'Birthmark'.
Loah was planning on relocating to New York just as lockdown hit, and ended up staying in Dublin. In an interesting twist, she was approached by Jameson to work with Queens-based rapper Bas to create a project during lockdown, and 'Birthmark' is the result of that collaboration.
Next up is Danny G & the Major 7ths featuring Tolü Makay and Jamel Franklin with 'D.A.R.L.I.N.G.'
Both the song and video were written and recorded in isolation, and the song explores the complex feelings of love and longing that are both strained and strengthened by distance. All proceeds from sales on Bandcamp will go directly to MASI.
