Are you the owner of a house plant?
Over recent months we've seen a major trend of people accumulating house plants.
Only a few years ago, people with plants in their house were seen as sort of naff.
Now, Instagram is alight with hashtags like #plantsofinstagram, #urbanjungle and #plantsmakepeoplehappy.
Our own Mairead has succumbed to the obsession, just this morning arriving in with swanky new pots for her leafy friends!
So she wanted to know, do you own any? Why do we love them so much?
For a bit of Friday fun we asked listeners to #HugYourHousePlant and send us a selfie.

'Hi Mairead, I too have fallen for the house plant addiction. Since lockdown, I have acquired 24 different types of house plants, some of which I've been propagating to make more plants and I have also starting growing some from seed. My house is starting to look like a jungle as anywhere I can find a space, I will insert a new plant My friends and family think I'm mad as I send them regular updates on how they are all doing They all have names.
