Babyshambles frontman and notorious illegal chemistry lab Pete Doherty has revealed that he would have to "lose a hand" before quitting narcotics and then giving up the guitar for good.

Babyshambles have announced that their new album "Sequel to the Prequel" will be available on September 2nd with artwork designed by none other than Damien Hirst, the artist famous for preserving sharks and other animals in large tanks of formaldehyde.

Earlier this year Pete's debut exhibition at the COB gallery in London showcased a series of paintings created from his own blood together with collections of Pete's "ephemera".

Farmers Daughter

So far the 'Shambles have rather nonchalantly posted two singles from the album the mellow, melodic "Nothing comes to Nothing" which will be released in August and the epic slow burning "Farmers Daughter" which comes free if you pre-order the album. Cheers!
