Hello, the first single from Adele’s new album 25, was released this morning – and she was quick to joke about how the title recalls Lionel Richie’s 1984 hit of the same name. “We’ve definitely got to do something, me and Lionel,” she said, during an interview on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast show with Nick Grimshaw, before agreeing with the presenter’s suggestion that the pair should engage in a competitive “hello-off”. She was also delighted with herself that she’s stopped smoking... When asked how her life has been changed by her fame and fortune she said the only thing she does differently is shop in Waitrose as opposed to Tesco. We don’t have Waitrose here so I’m guessing that’s like shopping in Brown Thomas if they had food.... Adele is set to release “25,” her highly anticipated new album, which will be available globally on Friday November 20th and is the first new music from her since her Oscar winning single 'Skyfall' in 2012.
