Yesterday’s Daily Download we welcomed the return of Ash - and today it’s much the same with a new song by Blur, called “Go Out”. It’s 16 years since their last album as a four-piece and this April will see the release of a brand new album from them. The Magic Whip is due out on 24th April. The recordings began during a five-day break in touring in Spring 2013 - in Kowloon, Hong Kong. It's been described as “a funked-up track with a blistering guitar solo underneath Damon Albarn's slurry vocals.” Well that sounds good to me! They'll play London's Hyde Park on June 20th, in the meantime check this out, it’s Blur’s new single “Go Out” and it’s Friday’s Daily Download.
