Lapsley, whose real name is Holly Fletcher, goes by her middle name "Lapsley" (which is her mother's maiden name). In adding the Scandinavian character Å to her last name, it was chosen because of how it looked when written – simple as that. Since signing to XL records just under a year ago, the Southport singer has subsequently earned herself a place on the BBC Sound Of 2015 long list. This is her latest single 'Hurt Me'.
