Today’s Daily Download is one of my favourites at the moment and I’m very excited to play it. It’s from the Maccabees and it’s called “Marks to Prove it”. The band came up with their name by having a look through the Bible, as you do, and picking out a random word, the band said after that they’re not religious. They just happened to have a bible knocking around. This is their latest single and it’s out on 8th May. They have been off the radar for three years – and now they’re back with their self-produced fourth album. Hugo White said “These new songs are a reminder of why we started the band. With the enthusiasm to play music that’s exciting and makes us excited”. This is the Maccabees with “Marks to Prove it” and it’s Monday’s Daily Download.
