Today’s Daily Download comes from Scottish band The Fratellis, and it’s called “Baby don’t you lie to me!” Very intense message there from the boys! The group hail from Glasgow in Scotland, consisting of band members Jon Fratelli (formerly John Lawler), bass guitarist Barry Fratelli (who was Barry Wallace), and drummer Mince Fratelli (born Gordon McRory). This is the first single to be released from their upcoming album “Eyes Wide. Tongue Tied.” This will be their fourth album to date, they released Costello Music in 2006, Here We Stand in 2008 and We Need Medicine two years ago. Eyes Wide. Tongue Tied is due for release in August of this year, they’re kicking off a UK tour in a matter of days, and then they head stateside - they’ll be spending the latter part of the year touring the new album around Europe, so hopefully they travel our way en route. This is The Fratellis with “Baby don’t you lie to me!” and it’s Monday’s Daily Download.
